Massage is the oldest and simplest of all medical treatments. In all cultures especially the East, it is accepted that all people of all ages can benefit from regular massage. In the West, though its value has always been recognised in the world of sport. Its use has only quite recently spread to other fields. Massage has shown to improve patients morale and hastened their rate of recovery by relieving tension, soothing headaches, relaxing taut and aching muscles and banishing insomnia.

acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional form of Chinese Medicine which has been in existence for over 3000 years, which involves inserting needles into the skin in strategic places called Acupuncture points situated along energy channels called Meridians. The Chinese believe that energy flows around the body in these channels. If it flows freely, the body is in a healthy state but if there is a problem, energy stagnates and pain and other symptoms may develop. The stimulation of these acupuncture points frees this stagnation and allows the body to continue to return to a healthy state. It is a drug free and safe therapy with no side effects and can treat the following:
•    Stress and Nervous Tension
•    Hayfever and Sinusitis
•    Asthma and Bronchitis
•    Dermatological Problems
•    Arthritis and Rheumatism
•    Migraine
•    Menstrual Problems
•    Digestive Disorders

Opening Times:    Tuesday & Friday 6-8pm
